Before you start.

What does an employer of record do?

ArchipelagoHR acts as the employer through its Sri Lankan entity and handles payroll and employment administration. You manage the employee’s day-to-day work.

Do you recruit the person as well?

Yes. We help define the role, source and screen candidates, and arrange a shortlist for your review. You interview and select your hire.

Where can you help us build a team?

In Sri Lanka, we recruit local employees and independent contractors. In Vietnam, we recruit independent contractors. We’ll discuss your requirements and agree on the market and hiring arrangement.

How long does hiring take?

Timing depends on the role, seniority and candidate availability. We discuss an expected search and onboarding schedule when agreeing the brief.

What happens if the hire does not work out?

We will find a replacement on a priority basis.

How are IP, confidentiality and contract terms handled?

We discuss these requirements before onboarding and set out the applicable terms in the employment or independent contractor agreement and the service agreement, as appropriate.

Are executive-search fees included?
